What Is the Crown Procedure Like?
The first step in receiving a dental crown is preparing the tooth. We will take impressions of the appropriate teeth in order to make a crown that will securely fit around it. After the impression is taken, we may provide you with a temporary crown while we produce your permanent crown. You will then return at a later date to receive your permanent crown. Patients may experience minor soreness after receiving their crown, but it is typically a fairly simple procedure with minimal discomfort recovery.
