John D. Shea, a lifelong native of New Orleans, attended Tulane University and received his D.D.S. from Loyola University School of Dentistry. Served 2 years as a dental officer in the U.S. Air Force in El Paso, TX and then started his private practice on S. Claiborne Avenue. The flood waters of Hurricane Katrina ruined his office and he relocated to this office suite in November 2006.
He is a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry, the American College of Dentists and the International College of Dentists. He is well respected by his peers and received the Honor Dentist Award from the New Orleans Dental Association and the Distinguished Dentist Award from the Louisiana Dental Association.
